Congo

Eastern Congo has been ravaged by civil war, AIDS, and foreign domination. Answering The Call's partnership with a network of churches along the eastern border has been extremely effective. We have seen the construction of a primary school built for children orphaned from AIDS and war, new church plants, short-term relief projects, short-term training of hundreds of pastors and/or congregational leaders, and the establishment of several feeding centers for malnourished children. There have also been numerous evangelistic outreaches that have been very fruitful. The Julie Project, a shelter for victims of rape, is our most recent project in Congo.
